Christmas comes early this year with our insane ex-Teletubby Dave Thompson, multi-award winner Carey Marx and Irish Stand up Queen – Aideen McQueen.
Carey is one of the top stand-up comedians from the British circuit, playing all the most prestigious clubs and festivals. He has performed in every continent, on a sinking ship, on ice, and as a rabbit. (Those were three different shows. And he wasn’t booked to perform on a sinking ship; it just worked out that way).
An international multi-award winner performed at lavish James Bond parties, for the Rolling Stones and private events for royalty. He was booked to entertain Princess Beatrice at her birthday party when she was two. She cried a lot. Yes, Carey has made a princess cry.
Quite brutal, in a darkly comic Quentin Tarantino kind of way“ (Chortle)
Aideen McQueen is one of Ireland’s top female stand ups, having reached the final of the “funny Funny” comedy competition after just her third gig she started to gig all over Ireland in clubs such as the International and The Laughter Lounge.
She reached the semi finals of the national new act competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ held at the Edinburgh Festival.
Dave is best known as the person inside the Tinky Winky costume in ‘Teletubbies’, which is still shown all over the world. If you think that show was weird, wait until you see Dave live on stage!
“The weirdest dude on the face of the earth”. (TIME OUT).
